The European stock market closed flat on Monday, with the Stoxx Europe 600 index ending the day at 459.68.

The French CAC 40 index and the German DAX remained unchanged at 7,319.76 and 15,950.76, respectively. However, the FTSE 100 index fell slightly by 0.13% to 7,554.49.
Top Gainers
Among the constituents of the Stoxx Europe 600 index, Scout24 SE saw the largest increase in share price, with a gain of 5.4%. Retail firm CTS Eventim AG & Co. KGaA and aerospace/defense company Leonardo S.p.A. followed closely behind with gains of 5.3% and 3.1% respectively. Novo Nordisk A/S Series B and IMCD N.V., both in the healthcare and retail/wholesale sectors, also saw their stocks rise by 2.8% and 2.6% respectively.
Top Losers
Uniper SE, a utilities company, experienced the largest decrease among the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, with a decline of 7.2% on Monday. Health care/life sciences firm Idorsia Ltd. and industrial goods company Siemens Energy AG also saw significant drops in their stock prices, with declines of 6.9% and 6.1% respectively. Galapagos N.V. and NEL ASA, both in the health care/life sciences and electric utilities sectors, rounded out the top five largest decreases with losses of 5.6% and 4.0% respectively.
Currency and Commodity Markets
In currency markets, the British pound (GBPUSD) strengthened by 0.13% against the US dollar, while the euro (EURUSD) weakened by the same percentage. Brent crude (UK:BRN00) fell by 0.85% to $85.51.
Bond Yields
The 10-year gilt yield (BX:TMBMKGB-10Y) increased by 7.27 basis points to 4.456%, while the yield on the German 10-year bund (BX:TMBMKDE-10Y) rose by 3.190 basis points to 2.60%.
