Most large cryptocurrencies experienced a decline in morning trading on Tuesday. The leading decline was observed in Cardano (ADAUSD), which dropped 5.36% to 51 cents. Other significant decreases include Polygon (MATICUSD) shedding 5.35% to 79 cents, Uniswap (UNIUSD) declining 5.27% to $5.84, Dogecoin (DOGEUSD) dropping 5.27% to 8 cents, Polkadot (DOTUSD) decreasing by 4.19% to $7.11, and Ethereum (ETHUSD) declining 3.90% to $2,248.01.
Ripple (XRPUSD) and Bitcoin (BTCUSD) also saw decreases on Tuesday, with Ripple dropping 3.50% to 56 cents and Bitcoin declining 1.11% to $46,591.70.
On the contrary, Solana (SOLUSD) bucked the trend by posting a 2.61% increase to reach $99.33.
In company news related to cryptocurrencies, Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN) shares declined 2.75% to $155.03, while MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) dropped 2.19% to $584.89. Riot Platforms Inc. (RIOT) saw a slip of 0.74% to $15.89, and Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. (MARA) inched down 0.92% to $25.74.
Block Inc. (SQ) recorded a 0.46% climb to $69.63, while Tesla Inc. (TSLA) declined 1.91% to $235.85.
PayPal Holdings Inc. (PYPL) shed 1.25% to $60.97, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. (EBON) dropped 4.81% to $11.87. Meanwhile, NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) rose 0.04% to $522.75, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) rose 0.55% to $146.99.
In the fund space, the blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF (BLOK) slid 0.78% to $29.25. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF (BITQ), which primarily focuses on pure-play crypto companies, experienced a small decline of 0.79% to $11.25. The Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), which tracks the Bitcoin market price, climbed modestly by 0.15% to $39.06.
